This is a hands-on role working alongside a team, you will work on a range of tasks within a factory environment; this includes steel pre-treatment and prepping for processing through the factory, through to acid operations, zinc dipping, and finally working with steel post treatment.

We’re seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor / Administrator, with a unique blend of hands-on supervisory skills and customer administration finesse to join our team.

This is a hands-on role in our busy factory.
What you’ll do:
- Supervise and assist our factory staff to ensure safety, quality, and operational excellence
- Handle customer enquiries and order processing
- Input and manage work orders, ensuring seamless coordination with production teams
- Streamline day-to-day operations for maximum efficiency and productivity

About you:
- Proven experience in an Operation’s Supervisor and administration role – within manufacturing would be advantageous
- Leadership and supervisory skills with a hands-on approach
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills
- A passion for achieving excellence in both office-based and hands-on responsibilities
- Knowledge of galvanising processes and industry standards would be advantageous
- Forklift, Gantry Crance experience – advantageous
- Able to multi-task, and have great attention to detail
- Safety conscious and care about the safety of others
- Motivated and reliable

Class 5 Truck Driver - CHRISTCHURCH

We have a great job for you!
We require a truck driver with experience moving loads of steel and experience securing unusual loads onto a truck.
You’ll be transporting steel products between Christchurch and Dunedin in our truck and trailer. When you’re not driving you will be loading and unloading the truck and working alongside our team out at the galvanising plant.

About you:
- Class 5 truck and trailer with experience securing structural steel or other unusual loads.
- Able to drive a Fuso Showgun HD Euro 430 horsepower truck. Tiptronic.
- Able to load and unload the truck and secure unusual loads
- You’ll be the face of Perry’s – friendly with strong customer service focus.
- Reliable, flexible, great attitude, team player and motivated.

- Valid forklift licence
