Steve joined Perry Metal Protection in April 2018 after previously holding senior roles with Gallagher Group, Ballance Agri-Nutrients and SealesWinslow Ltd.

Steve is the General Manager, overseeing site operations for Perry Metal Protection, Perry Grating and Waikato Sandblasting Services.

Steve is a family man who carries a wealth of knowledge and experience in Supply chain and distribution, Operations, Lean Manufacturing and believes in putting culture and his people first while maintaining high standards and a continuous improvement mindset to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and product quality.

Wendy joined Perry Metal Protection in 2024 from Power Farming based in Morrinsville, where she held the position of HR Manager for the past 6 years.

Wendy brings with her a vast experience within the HR profession across multiple facets and functions.

Carmen started with Perry Metal Protection in July 2023 after 6 years working in the Dairy industry. 

With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for keeping things running smoothly, Carmen plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day administration at Perry Metal Protection. As Office Manager, she ensures that everything behind the scenes is organised, efficient, and aligned with the company’s commitment to excellence.

Carmen brings a wealth of experience in administration and team coordination, supporting both staff and leadership with professionalism and care. Her approachable nature and problem-solving mindset make her a go-to person for colleagues across the business.

Whether it’s streamlining processes, managing communications, organising events, or keeping the office humming, Carmen’s dedication helps create a productive and positive work environment.

Christina joined Perry Metal Protection in 2022 from Schick Civil Construction where she held the position of Financial Controller for the past 2 years. Prior to that she held a management accountant role at Gallaghers. 

Christina brings a wealth of management accounting knowledge and business simplicity. She is passionate about driving efficiencies and challenging those to be the best they can be.

Daniel joined Perry Metal Protection in May 2024 from Kea Trailers based in Hamilton where he held the position of General Manager for just over 4 years. Prior to this Daniel has held a range of senior management positions within the engineering and fabrication industry.

Daniel has a vast array of experience and strong interpersonal skills. He is passionate about driving growth and building long lasting relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

Daryll joined Perry Metal Protection in June 2025, transitioning from Steel & Tube, where he served as the National Sales & Operations Manager.

His journey with Steel & Tube began in April 2014 following the acquisition of Tata Steel. Since then, Daryll has held numerous senior positions across various divisions within Steel & Tube NZ.

Mark joined Perry Metal Protection in 2008, from 7 years’ experience within the Steel industry. Mark Is the Northern Region Account Manager and is closely involved with large projects and coordinates customers’ requirements with the Auckland and Te Rapa plants. A pivotal part of the PMP team.

Grant brings a wealth of industry experience and leadership to his role as Operations Manager – Auckland at PMP.

After working for BHP Billiton (New Zealand Steel), Grant’s journey initially started with PMP in 2011. After several attempts at an early retirement and completing adult education (developing training programs for adult learners), Grant rejoined PMP in 2023.

Grant oversees the Auckland operations with a focus on efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. He is passionate about supporting his team and driving innovation within the galvanizing industry.

Bruce joined Perry Metal Protection in 1993 working night shift on the Kettle.  Bruce is now the Operations Manager of our largest plant, Hamilton.  Bruce is a true example of our Perry values and a well-respected member of PMP.

Evan joined Perry Metal Protection in July 2025.

Previously Evan has worked in the Logistics Supply chain for the past 5 years with Foodstuffs and On-Demand before that. During this time, Evan has held various roles including, Operations Manager and Depot Manager.

Evan brings a high level of enthusiasm and energy required to not only be successful in his role with PMP but, also providing a hands-on approach and direction to ensuring our team in Wellington continue to go from strength to strength.

Junior started with PMP in 2010 straight out of secondary school. Over the past 13 years he has held various roles in the factory, yard and admin. Most recently, Junior was appointed as the Operations Manager of the Christchurch plant in 2022.

Darryl joined Perry Metal Protection as a galvanizer in 1997. Darryl has learnt all aspects of the galvanizing process and is a knowledgeable and valued staff member. He became the Operations Supervisor in 2006 and has recently been promoted to the Yard and Operations        Coordinator for the Tauranga Depot.
