Auckland Council has built a new library for Ranui in West Auckland.
The new library replaced the facility which has served the community since 1995, and was designed to meet the needs of modern library users.
The new two-level, 800 square metre building is around four times the size of the original library. It has been designed to be a welcoming and inspirational space which reflects the values of Ranui community, and where people of all ages can gather and learn.
The external facade is supported by a galvanized structural steel structure.
